Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. My site has been down for a while but it is back up now and I will be adding new content all of the time. Take a look around and be sure to sign up for my mailing list.
I first picked up a guitar and actually learned how to play my first chords when I was 14. From that moment I knew that I was a musician. For the first time in my life I felt like someone. That moment changed the direction of my life forever. I had all of the dreams of fame and fortune that all kids do; but mostly I just had a love for playing music and singing.
I have spent over 30 years of my life living in this dream (and sometimes nightmare). Now that I am growing older I am really realizing how fast time goes by and how fleeting our dreams truly are.
I have always seen myself as an artist; whether when writing, recording, producing, playing or performing. But right now I am focusing on my own songs and my own voice. I was always the white boy in a black band and I was always trying to be more soulful than my competition because I thought I had to be.
I even had producers and record label execs ask me; “could you sing a little blacker?” As crazy as that sounds it is the truth. After singing all of my life - and professionally for most of it - I feel that I am finally finding my own voice and my own sound. Its like the Tori Amos song says; In some ways I have been “silent all these years.”
In the coming months and years I will be sharing this new music of mine with all of you. If you like it please tell your friends about it and spread the word. Also I want to thank all of you who have come out and seen me perform night after night, year after year. You have allowed me to make my living doing what I love and was born to do; Nobody will hire you if nobody comes out to see you.
Thank's so much. to all of you who have supported my music over the years.
